How to edit a date in the bank holiday calendar in your Timedash business account

In this text, you will learn how to edit a date in your company's bank holiday calendar.

The bank holiday calendar in your Timedash account is extremely important because Timedash will only automatically calculate any additional values related to bank holidays after they have been added.

With the change of year, bank holiday dates may fall on different days in the new year, but you don't need to add an entirely new bank holiday calendar. Instead, you can simply edit the dates of the already registered bank holidays.

If you are looking for "how to edit a date in the bank holiday calendar" in your Timedash business account, just follow these steps:

  1. First, click on the "Company" option in the left sidebar menu.

  2. Then, click on "Bank Holidays".

  3. Once you have added a Bank Holiday date to your Timedash account, this date will appear in a list on the right side of your screen. Click on the date you want to edit.

  4. A popup with a form will appear on your screen. Modify the name and date of the bank holiday, as well as the business unit to which that bank holiday will apply. After that, click on "Save changes".

That's it. Now, every time your employees work on the specified date, Timedash will calculate the appropriate additional compensation.

The editing of a Bank Holiday will not change values calculated before the effective date regarding that same Bank Holiday.
